'hipstagrrrl!' was written in my head while walking west on washington place towards washington square east. the irony is that I was actually walking with my girlfriend as these lyrics spilled into my brain from lord satan himself.

the waltz-meter recitatives are buttressed by primitive rhythmic thrusts in 7/4.
