this was one of those grooves I nursed in my chest for months before ever trying to write it down. I recorded the at my girlfriend's apartment at 177 west christopher street in the west village. we subsequently attempted to record it in the studio, but it was the first of many confrontations with the incredible difficulty of capturing the initial vibe of creation in a professional studio. people dedicate their lives to this elusive talent. the band unanimously agreed that the demo version had more stank on it.
